Mother’s day Special: Lessons I learned from my mother – Oby Ezekwesili

Oby Ezekwesili’s re-tweet reminds us why she is most respected by women all over the world.

As we mark International mother’s day, we celebrate an iconic trailblazer, an amazon, a woman who has dominated in circles ruled by men, an in-suppressible activist, an achiever, an incorruptible anti-corruption crusader and a mother to many, Dr. Obiageli Ezekwesili.

Popularly known as Madam Due Process, the Chattered Accountant and Former Minister spares no effort in criticizing corruption and corrupt public office holders. While she holds her position at the World Bank, she is most popular for her campaign that drew the world’s attention to the kidnap of over 200 Chibok girls in 2014, through her advocacy group, Bring Back Our Girls (BBOG).

She recently re-tweeted Vala Afshar’s tweet on lessons he learned from his mother and that tells us so much about her personal ideology.
